How do I make a booking?

I’ve forgotten my password to access the ACMBC Bouncy Castle booking page. How do I get it reset?

Easy – just enter your email address and click on the ‘Whats My Password’ button and it will be sent to you immediately.

If you have changed your email address then please let us know and once we have verified and updated your details a new password will be sent to your new email address.

How old do the children need to be?
The manufacturer recommends use by children ages 3 – 7 years

How many children can I have on the castle at one time?
The manufacturer recommends a maximum 3 children at a time. Maximum individual weight 45 kgs, total limit 113 kg. Adult supervision is required during play.


Why are food, drink and chewing gum not permitted on the castle?

This is for safety reasons (children may choke or slip) and also to prevent soiling the castle which would prevent it being hired to the next person in order to be cleaned. There is a cleaning fee which may be charged is the castle is returned soiled, please refer to the terms and conditions for details.

How much space do I need for the bouncy castle?

Approx 3m x 3m and 2.5m height, plus additional room for children to access the castle from the sides and move around it. Also allow 1m from any fences, walls, trees or other surrounding objects that the castle may touch while in use.

Can I use the bouncy castle indoors?
Yes (provided you have enough space – see above for space requirements)

Does it need any special equipment?
No, the bouncy castle is supplied with all the equipment required to run it, including Fan Blower, Carry Bag, Ground Pegs, Repair Kit, Ground sheet and power cords. You will need access to a power point for the fan blower (which runs at all times while the castle is in use)

What surfaces can I erect the bouncy castle on?
The bouncy castle can be used on flat surfaces with no sharp objects – ie grass, concrete, asphalt, dirt. Surfaces such as shingle, shells, stones are NOT suitable as they will puncture the castle.

How heavy is the castle? Will it fit in a car?

The bouncy castle weighs 45kg. ACMBC provides a small hand trolley to transport the castle to and from your car and to your setup location. It takes one or two people to lift the castle in/out of the car – depending on your strength! The castle will fit into the boot of a car or station wagon.

What if I have no access to a powerpoint?

You will need to hire a petrol powered generator which is available from most equipment or party hire companies

Can I use it after dark?
No, due to safety reasons it is forbidden to use the bouncy castle in the dark

How do I inflate and deflate the castle?

The castle is provided with easy instructions for inflating and deflating (click here to see them), or you can also view the video below.

How long does it take to set up the bouncy castle?
It takes about 10 minutes to set up and inflate.

How long does it take to deflate the bouncy castle?
It takes about 10 minutes to deflate and pack up the castle

What if I need to cancel my booking?
Please let us know at least 3 days prior to the hire date to avoid the cancellation fee of 50% of the hire fee

I’ve damaged the castle, what should I do?
Please let the Bouncy Castle Coordinator know as soon as possible that the castle has been damaged. We will assess the damage and get an estimate of the repair costs which may be funded by the bond provided.
